MY PALILULA IN NEW YEARS EVE - ŽIVORAD ISAKOVIĆ "COKALIJA"

One of the participants in the New Year's program in Palilula, was Zivorad Isakovic-Cokalija, master of old town music, urban, folk and traditional songs. This exceptional musician and a great person from Palilula celebrated at the end of 2014 his jubilee-60 years of his artwork. Accompanied by NAISUS band, this legend of Palilula from Nis, sang a few iconic songs that have gained popularity throughout the region, all the way to America and Australia, thanks to our diaspora.

Palilula from Nis is recognized as a part of the city, where we cherish the spirit of old town, but also one noble and bohemian Nis. With the event "Palilulska Night", which has been traditionally for more than two decades a part of celebration the City of Nis Saint Day "St. Emperor Constantine and Empress Helen", and on this occasion also, with the organization of New years Eve 2015, Palilula Municipality has confirmed that it has a good management that successfully is framing the concept of social and cultural development.
